Updates on Accident

Well we went to talk to the guy at the body shop today and the car is pretty fuc*ed up. Theres about $4500 in body damage, plus the left front is to the left and just hanging(something broke up front) and the right tire is stright, then the rear axle is bent. And the car books for $5k+ because it had high miles, so they're most likely totalling the car.

With all that damage, I have no idea how I managed to walk away without even a scratch. I guess someone was looking out for me that night. So I guess it's time to start car shopping. Gonna try to talk the rents into a Spec V or Frontier Quad Cab. My mom likes the Frontiers, but have to see. List some good cars for $17-$24k.

Oh, if that's not practical, then what Greg listed, plus used Pathy's or QX4's.

My friend bought a used Lexus last year and she's looking to trade, because it's too boring

Q: if they total the car, you get a check for what its worth, and then you keep the car and part it out? can you do that?

You can buy it back for what the Insurance company thinks it can get from a junkyard for it...usually. That's how I still have mine.

Yeah.. If it's totalled you could probably buy it back for less than $200

2x4 Frontier Quad. Or maybe a good used one with the 4x4 and SC for that price, if you can find on.

cool trucks. it was fun riding in Hudy's brother's truck and trying to get him to throw mud at everyone that had to turn around in the gravel while looking for the strip back at the meet in Lex.

I want one, in yellow though (his black truck looked awesome however) so's I can drive it on the beach and pretend I'm on baywatch.
