when will we see a ecu mod for the 96Q????? why must the 96 always seem to be the neglected one?? living on small islands greatly reduces oppurtunities for sustained hi-speed driving. a few bridges afford the chance for adrenalin pumping 2nd & 3rd gear red line. of course there is ALWAYS a FHP on the other side so i gotta go fast quick, brake quicker and always, always wave and smile.

You should set up a sliding price scale based on delivery time.

7 days = $450, 30 days $350, 60 days $250 all in advance.

Yes, I am about ready for an updated ECU. I only have one program in mine and I'd like the multi-map unit. I need one map for boost if you guys have one figured out yet....or am I going to have to go visit Robert so he can do some experimenting when I get the turbo installed?

ok, sounds good... We have a boost map and we can get that done for you... it will be conservative so you wont blow your motor up (as long as you dont exceed 400-450HP)

Are the NICO ECU's still available? And (I haven't check the wiring diagrams), but would it be possible to use the seat heater switches or TCS switches to control the program that is being run?

you could do it but we're not going to design it so..... Youll have to modify that yourself.

Design for the switches? Ok.

How about the ECUs? And are the stuff on FleaBay knock offs?

we're going to make another run on ECUs... Right now the way im doing it is I have to find a bunch of cores.... So if you guys have spare core ECUs we can work out a deal.....

Pricing is going to be a bit more expensive mainly because we arent doing them in as much quantity as we did last time.. My plan is to just have the ECU's handy, and then when someone wants one it'll already be ready.

your car has to be in acceptable condition as follows:

Must be firing on 8 cylindersmust have good knock sensorsmust have a properly operating cooling systemmust run 93 octane at all times

thats all i can think of now...

the first two: firing 8 injectors/ KS will be ok when i'm done with my plenum job,; it's always 93(BP AMOCCO)--- NJ/NY area on my tank.... im not sure with the cooling system (BG-flush????)? how would you know if you have a good cooling system? (no leaks/replaced old hoses?) is there any special modification for that?

i think i'm qualified for that... can i jump in?

A good cooling system is one that never allows the coolant temp to get above 196-200F on the hottest summer day with AC on full in bumper to bumper traffic.

Leaning the mixture to increase power stresses the cooling system, since a overly rich acceleration mixture is part of the cooling system design.

Non burned evaporated gasoline cools the exhaust valves and cats.

The ecu uses coolant temp to start the summer/age protective mode decreasing timing advance when ~~200F is reached.

Few 6+ year old radiators comply due to oxidation on fins and degraded surround seals.
