Well as you know I have another topic explaining the problems. It was VERY unorthodox and I HIGHLY doubt that anyone else in the community will EVER have my problem but it's fixed now.

My question is for those using a JWT and SAFC II (I feel your pain), what are your SAFC in and out settings. I have mine at 2in 5out because it seemed to idle the best but whenever I go into boost it's pig rich. I have the SAFC at -10% and I am worried that it's just on the wrong settings. 2in 2out makes it extremely lean at idle like 17.1 and if I rev it up it stays pretty lean so I really don't want to risk that in boost. Should I just keep the 2in 5out setting and continue tuning out the richness?

I have 75lb injectors but the program is for 72, so maybe it's running uber JWT richness + bigger injectors? *shrug*

It should be noted that while I am putzing around and tuning my timign isn't perfect. It's at 16 degrees base right now. Could the 4 degrees retarded be causing extra richness? Just a thought.

with the jwt ecu i think your timing should be at stock, because it pulls timing on its own.. i would set that back to 20. unless jwt said otherwise.

dont know anything about safc tho ..

Timing is set at stock now I will double check that though cause I know if it's retarded it will make it run richer.

Most people with JWT turbo programs actually advance timing 2 degrees or so at the distributor to counteract their conservative numbers. I'm at 23 degrees base timing right now with a JWT turbo tune (50 lb injectors) and it runs fine in boost, that is, when it decides to boost.

I think I will try that and use the SAFC to get rid of any excess fuel that isn't burning yet. I wish I had my cams in.....

Mark don't give up I spent the past 4 months without the car and hasseling through lawyers (with Shell), the machine shop, and then all the misc problems.

For my Enthalpy ECU w/Z32 MAFS, I use 6in 6out.

To find what really works best for timing, you will either have to dyno and adjust or adjust at the track. Every car will call for something different.

Well timing SHOULD be at 20 degrees base. Don't need a dyno for that. However how much you should advance past that is up to you. I am just looking for people's in/out settings. Thanks for the 6in 6out recommendation. I am gonna try that.
