We have the same car and about the same miles. 53K is what I have now. Looks like the deployment did you good on the money side. I've also been looking for a cheaper warranty.NycGMONyc wrote:So here is my update
I returned from my deployment the 23rd Nov
I installed the Megan Racing exhaust /w Blue tips the next day sounds amazing looks good I'm happy with the results. I installed it myself had to cut off one of the bolts at the Y pipe, I snapped it trying to get it off.
I changed out the headlights and fog light 8k/8k good light out put and looks good
Changed out license plate, trunk, parking, and Inside lights to LED only one I couldn't find is the DOME LIGHT so that one is still stock.Dose anyone have a link to where I can get those LED?
I also installed the weathermen wind deflectors
I still need to install rear window spoiler
Last thing I had my car back for 3 days went to the store the car was parked and I was inside the store. Come out walking to my car and all I see it that some dumbass scarped my front bumper on the passenger side. So mad
I went to the dealer while I was in New York to get my oil changed and while I was there I asked about the recall and they also took care of that( Pepe's Infiniti in Yonkers quick n good service). The car drives smoother the pedal is smooth and alot more responsive. I also asked them about my driver and passenger mirrors for some reason the r not going down when the car is in revers and yes I have move the little switch that allows you to select which mirror you want to adjust. Can anyone shine in on this?
Where can I get a good price for my car my warranty exp in March2013, again I have an 09 M35x with about 54000 miles on it
Thanks in advance
M35xTO wrote:Glad you made it back from your deployment safelyI'm not sure about 8k; those are a little too blue for my liking, but that's just my opinion. As for the mirrors; what issue are you having, exactly? Mine flip down and start clicking, which from what I've seen, could either be a matter of incorrect position setting, or a faulty actuator (probably more likely in my case). If you do have the clicking issue and want to rule out an invalid position, choose the mirror you want to flip down, go into reverse. When the mirror stops clicking, adjust it to a new reverse position, go back into drive, and adjust your regular position again. If the clicking continues when you go back in reverse, it is likely a faulty actuator.
