Aren't those needles hard to read against a white background?

I think you can have those injectors flow tested if you need to know what they really are (you might have to know eventually).

Are you going to use that inline MAF sensor instead of the "fractioning"(for lack of a better word) stock one? Then I will tell you an experimental idea I have been throwing around in my head for a few months. See how the stock downdraft throttle body has a square bolt pattern? I'm not sure, but I wonder if it is the same size pattern as other widely available (and larger) Nissan TB's. Only here the TB would be mounted downdraft style instead of sidedraft style like it would probably be on the donor car (throttle cable linkage might not match up without modification). The stock TB is 52mm, and, for example, a 240sx DE is 60mm if I remember correctly. The runners of the truck manifold are 38mm, and might flow more air if a larger TB would let it. I'm not sure how much, though.

i think ive noticed a decrease in my gas mileage.

i may be buying a ka24de engine and using that. i already have a machined crank ready to go i just need to save up for the machining of the cyl. head pistons bearings gaskets etc.

ok, so i have a question. how durable are the stock ka24de con. rods? im looking into building my engine with a turbo. i saw a wiseco forged piston set complete with eagle rods for 739 dollars on ebay. im looking in to boosting 20 pounds so im wondering if the stock de rods will hold up. i know i need pistons.

Stock rods will not stand up to bad tuning and detonation as well as aftermarket rods will. Some people have gotten more than 400whp on stock rods, but not without pushing the limits. I would say that stock rods are safe for up to 300whp. Another thing to get is ARP head studs.

im talking about my lower end right now thats what im starting off with. i was told that stock single cam rods are non- forged and can take up to 300hp. and de rods are forged.

Nissan had the tooling to make forged units in large quantities over the entire production run for the KA24. They would have had to go out of their way to design new tools to make non-forged (cast?) rods, and that would have cost MORE money than to just keep pounding out forged pieces with the tools they already had.

what car did that cluster come off of ?

and pushing 20 pounds on any turbo is alot the more pounds your running the more heat. if you swap over to a de and you dont know the condition of it and how it was maintained you will be wasting alot of time and money boosting it. it would be smarter and better to go ahead and build it while you can and while its out the car so you can do everything you want/need to at once.
trust me i learned the hard now and now i can pull my block in like 30 mins from how many times ive pulled it lol.

idk if you need a transmission swap i threw the sohc from a 240 and it bolted up to my transmission just fine i know that the transmission out of a 240 is like 3 inches longer then the stock truck one
