You wanna be unique, DON'T get the FN01'svroombout wrote:trust me ...lol i know
im savin for some coilovers right now....but im also tryin to save for an SR swap and i want some FN01's 17 x 9.5 +12 (paintin them purple....no biters lol i want some originality on my s13)....those are my more immediate goals
So if that's not what you want, why are you trying to be a wannabe with coils when you clearly don't need them?vroombout wrote:i dont want to be a lil honda boy on spring and struts and look like a boat cruisin down the road goin over waves n s***.
Sorry you have to excuse Dattebayo. He likes to sound like he knows what the hell hes talking about but once you get down to actual facts you find out hes just ignorant. Out of his 23000 posts i bet only 3 of them are actually useful. Everyone knows that every honda around that time period is slow as f***.Dattebayo wrote:

Get some good KYBs or Konis and get the proper equipment for what you do rather than deal with all that noise. WTF do you have against Hondas anyway? Most of them stock would stomp your ride anyway...
You can't really run too much of a spacer without extended wheel studs, or by getting 25mm bolt on spacers. I have H&R's on my car and they cost about $120 a pair and that includes the extended studs. I have 10mm in the back 15mm up front. Basically you can put a 5mm spacer without extending the studs but that won't give you your effect. Machine shops charge a good bit of money to put the spacers in so if you get anything below 25mm you can count on probably another $150 to put the new studs in plus you have to take the hubs off for them to do it. In other words, save your money until you get some better wheels, it's not worth the hassle if you're just going to replace them soon anyway.vroombout wrote:how much offset can i lose with some spacers temporarily till i get nice wheels? what size spacers can i use, where can i find them, and how much? not used to the aftermarket wheel thing....i only previoulsy owned isuzu cars lol
This doesnt seem right to me. My car sits noticably higher with the sr swap. Prob about 2 inches. I find it hard to believe that there is only a 30 pound diff. Also the sr transmission weighs more than a KA trans? Can you provide links to this info?Lev_96_240sx wrote:KA24De weighs in at ~370lbs w/o transmission, about 520 with transmission. SR20DET weight in at 328lbs w/o transmission, about 490 with transmission.
