Well, I have been super busy, moved into a new shop, and have been expanding my business, building a lot of fun toys.

The Z.

I have a lil over 6700 miles on it at the moment. Hasnt had a single problem. I run it all day, every day, am on second set of rear tires, and have a set for drift days. Yes I 1/4'd it, you wouldn't believe it without a ride. I have a local Evo, that we take them out to F around, dead even.

I have been averaging about 18 or so, but when I run it on 4 cyl mode on the freeway, I have been getting about 24.

I'll let ya'll ponder that one. Keith knows whats up, told him about it a few months ago when I redid my wiring, and did that conversion.(will be an option on my upcoming kit)

I have been pondering how much more to do before I sell it, ( I have a V2 Vortech sitting on a shelf, and it fits perfect between my radiator and engine)Still have not painted it, been more fun to beat up on people with it not being a queen. Engine is strong as hell, on its 3rd oil swap, every 2500 miles, it gets a new 8.5 qts.

Only issue to mention, is that 4th synchros are on the way out. Got a low mile trans to drop in before I sell it, and may do the Q rear diff swap as I rarely use 3rd. I usually start in 2nd, (will spinn them in 2nd at a dead stop), then shift to 4th, and then 5th. i actually started it off in 4th the other day, easily.

drifting,

She will drift anytime, so easily.

radiator, well, I have had the cooling fan on 2 times for no more then 5 minutes, Dallas traffic, and Phoenix traffic. Both on HOT days, with no airflow. Other then that, natural cooling, never runs over 205.

Still no p/s, F'n great without it.

She is a very fast beast, that is gentle, and very aggressive at the same time. I am working on a VH45 swap, and one in a RX7 in the next month. And a FWD slammed 80's Blazer

Had forgoten my password for a while, so have not been on. Hope alls well.Craig

12.8 on good days with little spin. It has more potential still, while being mostly stock. I want to swap the gears over to a higher set, the 4.10s(give or take) are great, but I would like to have it more highspeedable then it is. @ 135 letting off the gas is like dropping an anchor.Had it over 150 2 times, and it pulls hard up there.

I can get the best launches @25 or so in 2nd. I've gotten good on double clutching it at the right times. Running her hard all day, having no issues at all, rips up a lot of rice, stangs, and lots of others all day.

Building a number of cars here at the moment, anyone need wiring, or parts for a swap, leme know.

I can't wait for boost. fun already, but what is next?

Wow...maybe I'll have to throw a VH45 into something quicker than my Pathfinder someday. Am I the only one that is VERY surprised it ran 12.8s? That's way faster than I expected.

I may need to see if you have any parts I need here in the near future. I just wrecked another CAS (this will be the 4th one on this engine! ) and I may need a Q45 steering pump and bracket.

Looking forward to seeing more information and pictures on this thing.

There's a guy here in Aus that runs 13.3's, but I haven't seen him race. He's more into posing than going fast

As one can tell from the quantity of posts since I have been driving it, I'd rather drive then post.

I have been running mid 110's.

nat to 60 is a toughy as traction is my issue. But can say that I run a friends 06 vette, and a 08 EVO, and We are all three dead even up to 60. Once in a while I am out the gate first, usually its the evo. I can say that both of the other guys prefer to ride in my ride, they say that theirs does not throw you back at all like mine.

Oh 3rd sychros are pissed now too. Had to show it off to a guy I am either swapping a new 3.5 into his Z, or making his 04 a V8. Fingers crossed in hopes.

I am getting good mileage when I kill 4 cylinders. still averaging 18 or so in town w/o variable cylinder switched.

Today was cold, still it runs great no issues with the aib or idle.Took less then 1 minute to get warmed up enough to play.

Looking at building a T bucket this winter, maybe running another VH45 I picked up yesterday.

I'm happy with it right now, awsome daily car, and even better on the track, as the gearing is fun for anything below 80.

Mid 110's? As in 115 or 110.5? If that thing is trapping 115 that is awesome, my hat's off to you. Even at 110 it's still boogying. Awesome ride man, great job...

Tyler,

I'm a bit surprised as well - my math @ 3400 lbs would indicate flywheel horsepower required for those numbers would be 325-350. Craig, did you lighten the car up significantly since we last talked or did you "play" with the engine ? - that would definitely explain the numbers.... I ran high 12's with my Z in TT form @ 380 RWHP - of course the clutch began to slip all the way down the track (very sticky track)

Awesome #s either way though..... great job!

Thanks,Nick.
