Okay I am trying to be a productive member here so I finally got off my lazy but and did something to the vert. Some of you may recall what I started out with for $400...blown motor, ripped top, weird looking rims,no carpet, and the previous owner tinkered with the wiring which led me to some wiring issues after I did the 5speed s14 ka swap.On a good note the body was solid and straight, the top and all the windows worked properly and the car came with a set of widebody f/r fenders which i ended up selling and now am realizing I should have just kept.Anyway enough with the small talk here are some pics:Right off the tow truckAnd heres my son on the left and nephew on the right playing big boy mechanic with the old s13 motorS14 motor and 5 speed trans swap done thanks to a donation from Ross Sent my aluminum z32 brakes to the powdercoating shop because my friends all talked me out of getting them polished/chromedCame back 2 weeks later nice and shiny with polished lettering courtesy of Chuck@ http://www.boneheadperformance.comOut with the old....And in with the new...And no I am not going to rock those crusty old z32 rotors!!!Everything is just mocked up for now mainly because I dont have my coilovers and bodykit yet.I am waiting for the axle shafts for the diff to come in and when the car goes to paint I dont want overspray on my calipers.I still also havent decided on what motor to go with and which bodykit to go with.I have already been there done that with the SR's so I may end up going with an RB series motor. But just for sheer parts cost and availability I may wind up with another SR I will keep you all posted. Here are my FOB from Japan all polished with gold rivets Work VS-XX 18x9 fronts and 18x10.5 rears.I am probably going to rock some 5mm slip ons all the way around because the fronts are a little too close for comfort to the calipers and the rears rub the suspension. As far as tires I am going with 225/40's in the front and 245/40's for the rear...I already bought the fronts but LMK what you guys think about my choice of size for the rears because I havent purchased those yet anyway heres the frontsAnd heres the rearsAs far as color choice I have nailed it down to 3...I am a gunmetal kinda guy so I may go with the Toyota Thundercloud or Acura Carbon Bronze but I may just keep it simple with a pearl white from the Nissan colorbook. It all depends on what kit I go with I am juggling between a Supermade kit and a BN sports replica blister kitWell thats it for now I am broke as a mofo LMK what you guys think I am open to all forms of criticism!!

uh oh, you doomed yourself. Apparently saying you are open to suggestions or comments on this board means no one post in here.

I like the works, although chrome isnt my thing, but gold bolts always look good. Your right, you should have kept the wide body, and by the looks of your wheels your going to need spacers to fill the wide panels.

i would go with a lexus pearl white, i like those. Everyone has their own taste though, and gun metal always looks nice too.

You have a nice starting point, a clean (rust free esp for Hawaii) chassis, nice brakes, 5 lug and 5 speed. Your well on your way. Keep us posted with what your up to, and let us know what motor your going to run!

Ha well I guess you are right.Hopefully this means that I havent done anything too silly to the car yet to attract any kind of attention/criticism I guess thats a good thing.

Good work on the car i like it a lot, i myself run equips in a similar size. 245/40 should work well in the rear i use to run that, i loved the stretch it gave and was more than able to keep the tires under the wheel wells with a nice roll and a bit of camber.

keep up the good work.
