update on the storm...

well i was in ohio for a wedding while frances came and destroyed my area, i live in melboune.. so anyways i got back tonight and came home to a house with no AC, no cable, the roof leaked into my moms room, and the celing fell onto her car.. the roof will need repairing and the AC replaced.. as for the rest of the area, most of the gas stations are not gonna be pumping gas for awhile, alot of signs are blown down/ apart.. all of the street lights are nonworking.. we arent allowed out from 12am - 6am .. but all in all most of the homes withstod the rain, and wind.. im just glad that the house is still standing and i can accully get on the internet.. tomorrow i will go out driving around and take some pics, and try to get as far as teh police will let me go... i hope that everyone that had the storm hit them made it out alright..

man it is HOT, 90% humidity and about 90ºF in my house.. anyone wanna sell me a window AC unit? heh.. i think ill be sleeping in my car tonight

oh and if you guys donate to charity, please send some money to the redcross, they have done alot for the people in need in florida and all around... they really do help everyone out alot.. i know once this is all over im gonna be donating to them..

dont forget the time they canceled school because they thought it might snow, and if it snows AT ALL they cancel it, not like it poses any threat, i did make a kick *** snow man though, its like 10 inches high and lives in my freezer

Ahhh.....the high school days when they closed school due to snow. I kinda miss high school in some ways.

the fayette county board of education is rediciulous in there cancelling of school, but as the storm may have been weak, there might not have been any power at some of the schools so they had to cancel.

Power's not out at my house, so I doubt it's out at school (and the schools, at least Starr's Mill, have generators).

well i went out and bought a window AC unit today, waited in line for 2 hours at home depo, then they were all out of AC units, so i had to buy the busted up floor modle, but i dont care it runs like a champ! my room is the only room in the house now with ac, and im charging my family members 5$ for 30 mins of time in my room, muhahahaha... and tomorrow im gonna go get some food from the red cross or whoever it is.. its like that army food that is freeze dryed, no food stors are open and i havent eatn in 2 days but i have water and tea so thats all i really need... i will post pics of my drive out to melbourn tomorrow.. i went by my dads house, and they are still without power, it sux , there is power all around them but his block is blacked out.. ohhh well...

My school isn't out dated=( built like 6 years ago, so there hasn't been any school cancellations since I've been going there (3 years) No tornados in the area either.
