How did I waste my money? It's the style I like but again your opinion is your opinion thanks for sharing.apossiblehybrid wrote:i think you wasted your money.
Will do.I was gonna wash my car today but I'll take the pictures with it dirty. The rear wheels stick out because I haven't adjusted the camber.elwesso wrote:try daylight...
Depends on which ones he gotgoody94q45 wrote:What's the offset on the wheels?
That's what I mean. The stance is nice, but those low-pro 16s don't come anywhere near filling out the wheel wells, so they look goofy. Needs more sidewall...front and back.unknown007 wrote:only bet is wait til I get thicker ones in the rear that's if that's what you meant.
I personally would've painted my car first before wheels, but it's his money and he is happy! That's really all that matters.qship96 wrote:Interesting you chose to invest in shiny wheels instead of painting hood to match body.
I said "paint the HOOD to match body".....if an owner is happy with cheap used incorrect ill- fitting old wheels, surely he would also find a low cost simple Maaco / Earl Schieb level of simple color respraying of hood acceptable?????MinisterofDOOM wrote:Since when do used 80s wheels and a good paint job cost anywhere near the same? You're all nuts. As soon as you find a place that'll paint a car for the price of a set of Starion wheels, please let me know. Until then, your paint vs wheel argument is ridiculous.
Where in my previous statement can you find that I was arguing about the two? I don't have any problem with him putting wheels on his car. I have chrome wheels (you know the alloy that most of you hate) on my ride. I PERSONALLY would paint MY CAR so everything would match before I put new/used wheels on my car.MinisterofDOOM wrote:Since when do used 80s wheels and a good paint job cost anywhere near the same? My reply wasn't directed at you...the forum just thinks it was because I clicked the reply button on your post since it was the last post at the time.NightRiderQ45 wrote:Where in my previous statement can you find that I was arguing about the two?
