Wheels are so so.

But I like the stance in that picture, it makes the car look longer somehow.

How did I waste my money? It's the style I like but again your opinion is your opinion thanks for sharing.

Will do.I was gonna wash my car today but I'll take the pictures with it dirty. The rear wheels stick out because I haven't adjusted the camber.

I like the wheels, but you need different tires in a very, very bad way.

What you mean tires? The rears are stretched but the fronts are 205/55/16 if I go to 205/50/16 then the car will just drop more so my only bet is wait til I get thicker ones in the rear that's if that's what you meant.

What's the offset on the wheels? My 235's dont stick out that far. Must be rubbing as much as an itchy dog.

Depends on which ones he got

16x7 + 1816x8 - 10 (yes minus)16x8 + 1816x9 0

I think that's the specs on the 2 different sets.

Not your standard NICO-Q fit ment by a long way.

If I'm correct fronts are 16x7 +18 with a 15mm spacer making the fronts 16x7 +3.The rear are 16x8 -10.The rear don't rub I put the bat and hammer to work on the fenders. The fronts are perfectly flat and pulled a bit and the rears and just rolled but man are those very thick. Other then that once I add the camber to the rear it'll look cleaner.Mike Goodwin soon enough you'll see my car in person August 24 I start school so hopefully I can slide through sometime. I just need to find a way of driving the Q there.

I have to admit.. I like the look... I might have had it a tad higher (maybe 1/2 in at the most) but it looks pretty good!

Be sure to loosen all the bolts on the the suspension and retighten them.. You're twisting the bushings and they'll rip and have much less life.

I wish to say I will but I cant without a torque gun.Member all my bolts are super rusted.I will once I get access on a lift.It looks clean still with I jack it up and is almost at ride height.

Interesting you chose to invest in shiny wheels instead of painting hood to match body.

Whats more important having rims/tires or a painted hood?I careless about the paint. You should slap yourself for choosing paint over tires. Anyways I know your mad but here have a some POP.

Actually, I would have purchased Michelin Exaltos and installed on your factory alloys......what good are new tires when installed on incorrect offset wheels???

That's what I mean. The stance is nice, but those low-pro 16s don't come anywhere near filling out the wheel wells, so they look goofy. Needs more sidewall...front and back.

Minster well the tire is the same it's just stretched but my guess is if it wasn't it would be meaty.I'll post the tire size tomorrow.Qship see that's what you'd do but this is what I did so get over it.

I personally would've painted my car first before wheels, but it's his money and he is happy! That's really all that matters.

Since when do used 80s wheels and a good paint job cost anywhere near the same? You're all nuts. As soon as you find a place that'll paint a car for the price of a set of Starion wheels, please let me know. Until then, your paint vs wheel argument is ridiculous.

I said "paint the HOOD to match body".....if an owner is happy with cheap used incorrect ill- fitting old wheels, surely he would also find a low cost simple Maaco / Earl Schieb level of simple color respraying of hood acceptable?????

Sorry, I find putting aftermarket oversized shiny wheels on an old car with serious cosmetic issues..........GHETTO

Where in my previous statement can you find that I was arguing about the two? I don't have any problem with him putting wheels on his car. I have chrome wheels (you know the alloy that most of you hate) on my ride. I PERSONALLY would paint MY CAR so everything would match before I put new/used wheels on my car.

Ghetto?Hahaha have you even been to the Ghetto?Didn't think so.Most people driving with big rims in my area are WHITE not GHETTO.I'm only on 16's bro hahaha.Anyways to paint my hood to match the car would have ran more than the rims and tires.I wanted my fender painted and got a quote even from people who painted on the outside.Like I said I rather wait to go to UTI and have my room mate paint my car.FOR FREE!!!Well actually I have to make his Mustang fast. Anyways but I still don't see how the hood affects the rims on the car. Most people didn't even notice the hood being pearl white.Anyways let's not this locked so just opinions please and the arguments take it to your wife qship.

NightRider what does your car look like I don't think I've seen it.

My reply wasn't directed at you...the forum just thinks it was because I clicked the reply button on your post since it was the last post at the time.
