Managed to port match and polish the intake, clean up the engine bay, make the hole for the intercooling piping, and of course stare at the beautiful pistons for a while. Let me know what you think.

You have to just love the swirl control valves. On H&Ks car, we left them in but no vac line hooked up to actuator. I wonder if there is an upper end HP advantage to removing them.

Actually I had to port match this one since the other has the butterflies already removed. It was all-motor but high end was gained. I didn't think it was worth it for the low-end loss though.

It all depends on where you want the power. I'm all drag so I don't need the butterflys. I only need power from 4700-7500 give or take. Which is another reason to go with a short fat runner intake.

Hey Nizmo, if the intake is still apart, grab a flexhone and run it though the runners, it works well for those hard to reach area's.

My garage looks the same way, only I know where things are at this point.

Good call on the flexhone. My old boss has a couple, maybe I'll go steal one from him for a couple of weeks.......
