Well after being told by 3 different Nissan dealerships that you can't adjust the idle, I HAD IT DONE by an independent Nissan mechanic in Canoga Park, CA called Precision Z. He works on the Manager's of Nissan dealership cars because they obviously don't trust their own!!

He BUMPED it up and it idles like a charm. After 5 months of anguish dealing with Nissan dealers and Nissan north america, I had to go it on my own. He did say they sometimes relearn the old idle but doubts that this one will. He has all of the latest and greatest equipment from Nissan and has been in business since 1980. He has some pretty fancy Zs in his shop that he works on. In fact one of them belongs to the owner of Universal Nissan!!!

ANyhow, now I can enjoy my coupe to the fullest and you won't hear from me again since I pretty much have been dumped on by this forum.

You guys need to be nicer!!!

Glad to hear your problem was fixed. Where were you "dumped" on? We are pretty damn accommodating here Shoot me an email if you'd like to discuss it.

you were dumped on in this forum??? I'm sry to hear that, it must've been a huge difference of opinion... the folks in here are definitly some of the better folks in the collective Nissan forum community. I've been on that other forum for a few years, but stopped posting b/c they like to make any newb, or anyone else that likes to look at things from a different perspective feel less worthy of posting let alone owning a ride... they even go as far as bashing the cars they ride in by saying, "but it's an altima"... Even though I am a 1st gen, they seem pretty welcoming here... again sorry to hear about the bad expierence in here.
