UpDate on my thenew M-30

Hey Everyone, First why the Heck does it say Mom's car under my name when I post? Anyway!

I got the car and here's what I have found the Abs light was some sensor or chip that was burnt out not sure if it was that part you guys had talked about (cost the Car lot 800.00 something to fix it)

(2) my Amps are FRIED! Its a 90 so thats fine. I have been tring to way the best and worse places to send them, as most of my speakers are ummm cracked and need replacing also... I read here on the sight that Bose fix's them also? I mean I have to have all 4 amp's and all the speakers redone so whats a good price range for it all?

(3) What the heck kind of phone came in this car? I have found the talk mic up near my sun visor and the plugs and connectors are in the center, But they look very weird somewhat like the brick phone would use from way back then!

(4) Where is a place to find used parts (I.E. my rear spoiler that I dont have on my car

I would have to say that I Love this M-30 by far more than any other car I have ever had and that even goes for our 98 S-70 Volvo we had, well its close between them! I stared doing a small page on my car havent came near to finishing it yet more will come after wed and thursday when I am off work.

Hey D.Hays. Nice ride, those M30's are VERY rare! I have seen my first and only one just thispast summer in a car lot. amazing, the car has been around for 13 years and I've never seen one. Since you seem to be having problems with the entire stereo system why don't you just ditch it all and get all aftermarket?

BTW, are those things FWD or RWD?

RWD...I know what you mean about being rare though. I've seen maybe 6 total in my life...funny - most of them being on college campuses..

Check out this thread on the Bose issue... you should be able to get them rebuilt(new amps and cones) for $75 each.

Nice to see a few M30s on the list too! That car will look really good with bronze tint-there's a guy in Charleston named John Irons who had a Pearl Q and Pearl M both with the bronze tint... great looking cars. He used to frequent the Yahoo board, but I haven't heard much from him lately.
