ok, it still isnt fixed, but have come to the conclusion that its the ecu. the engine temp sensor tested ok, the MAF is sending a signals that its suppsoed to, the CAS is obviously working since it does run. the only thaing that has improved is the cold start problem, just had to wire the engine start signal. but the ecu still just blinks (not codes) just blinks. i havent figured out how to pull codes?? the only thing ive found on how to do it is to turn the screw on the ecu all the way CCW, but that didnt do anything. oh yeah i even took apart the ecu looking for some sort of visual sign of it being fried and found nothing? i am completely stumped?? i have made sure that all sensors signals are making it all the way to the ecu, tps, maf, engine temp...i would say that its running like the maf is unplugged but from what ive read if you unplug the maf it will try to kill the car, its acting like if the tps is unplugged when you try to set timing, when i unplug the tps, maf, engine temp it diesnt skip a beat? sorry its so long but im really confused , i have searched and found little from people who have been in safe mose, if i do find some they never say what cured it.

Go to RB20DET.comIt tells you all of the code meanings and how to extract them.

Not sure but i think you turn all the way to the left, then all the way to the right. It will go on from there.

I had a similar issue, with the ECU LED constantly blinking. I bought a ECU and installed a ZIF socket into it. And I think I damaged it in the process of desoldering the stock ROM and soldering the socket. From what I can find on the internet, if the light constantly blinks when the key is turned on then there is an ECU failure. I noticed that my damaged one would turn off immediately when the key was turned off, instead of like my stock ECU where the LED stays on solid for about 5 seconds after key off.
