I've had my s13 for 3 months now and I am loving it. I am getting used to RWD and rain is not such problem anymore. We will see how I will do in the snow. Anyways here is a short list of small things I have done and then some pictures.

- my clutch was dieing so I put in an RPS street clutch (220 ft-lb)- replaced the transmission and differential oil- did the whole seafoam thing and did an oil flush at the same time.- K&N drop in air filter, and new fuel filter.- one of my injectors died so I replaced it- replaced the rear brakes (stock replacement, didn't have the money for more) and the master cylinder- the timing chain was hitting the guides so I took out the guides and at the same time replaced my valve cover gasket because it was leaking and painted the valve cover because I wasn't happy with how clean I could get it. It ended up being shinier than I would prefer but it looks alright- set my base timing to 22 degrees, noticed a small difference in the high end.- got rid of some surface rust on the shock towers (that's why I painted them)

Now for just a few pictures, you can find more and higher quality versions hereAfter changing the clutch:

After painting the valve cover and shock towers (I didn't bother to mask off the area around the towers, don't really care). As I said, the cover is a bit shinier than I wanted it to be but ohh well.

After wash, lots of scrubbing, clay bar, polish, wax

There are still swirl marks all over the place but they can only be seen with alot of light and at the right angle at close range. I don't think I want to polish it much more or use a harder compound because I don't think my clear coat is that thick.

Most of the small "mods" only made the car run smoother which is fine with me. I am planning to start autocrossing next summer and then maybe in late june go all out on the suspension and maybe I/H/E.

So far I have not paid for any labor so I am happy about that. I would say I spent about 600 so far, that's including some tools that I didn't have.

Thanks to alot of of posts on here, a few of my friends, anthony(structure240sx) for helping me out with the injector thing, and Marty T. from Injected Performance for really doing a great job on getting me the clutch.

EDIT: removed license plate from first pic

First picture is worth 1000 words. Good project car to be prepared for autoX. Consider some suspension, tires, and bushings to really make the car hook.

Hah, yeah, I have some more dirty pictures in my nico gallery. I really mostly want to work on myself as a driver but I don't think that doing it with 15 year old parts is a great idea and I don't want to spend money buying stock replacements so as soon as I go to a few autocross events I will start replacing stuff with aftermarket parts I hope.
