Trailblazers are great trucks. In fact, I was planning to buy one before I decided I'd rather have an LS instead. The 4.2 Vortec is an awesome motor and the TB offers a nice blend of real-truck capabilities with really good on-road manners. My dad has owned two, and I've liked them both a lot.

I like Trailblazers. There is an SS rolling around my neighborhood I see now and then - cool truck. 0-60 in 5.6 is okay, I guess.

One of the biggest things I don't like about most newer model trucks is how far the front end extends over the front axle. I like hitting 45 degree inclines without touching bumper.

Consumer reports gave the Trail Blazer and the Envoy some of the lowest ratings of all time. They are extremely overpriced and lose value very fast (like all GM's I guess). As far as the vehicle it's self I've driven one before and it seemed to do OK.

Sweet. Lower resale value for me!

I like the Saab 9-7 because of the slightly nicer interior and modestly improved suspension, but they should have made it a Saturn.

The 9-7 seems to hold its value a lot better than the regular Trailblazer.And you can get the 5.3 in SWB, which is my favorite bonus over the TB.

and the 4.2L with the G80 rear is probably the best combo
