Stillens parts are manufactured here, they are definetely not the IMPUL kit. They could be exact replicas, however. The Stillen rep is going to contact the US manufacturer and try to get some pics.

I'm not sure I really care. They are selling their front air dam for $390.00. The Impul front bumper we all love so much is only $150 or so from IMPUL. Factor in shipping, you are probably looking at the same cost as the stillen (whcih comes with no pictures, and god knows the availability) Anyway, the ENTIRE Impul kit is $570 from Impul themselves. Very cheap, shipping will cost you, but the kit is worth the price in my opinion. Anyway onto my car.

First time restoring anything really, so lessons will be learned. I now have a front bumper cover I don't need. It's in PERFECT condition, crimson red. It was supposed to be burgundy, but it matches my paint perfectly. For some reason I misunderstood, and thought I was getting just the top part, and it would replace the gaping hole section of my bumper. Wrong, I need the entire Front bumper cover (which I know now is basically the entire bumper) Oh well, didn't lose too much on that deal.

The AC system is still on the car, kryder has no memory. It's disconnected due to some hoses being cut. So I just need a few hoses, and the A/C should be revived. This also gives me hope kryder was also mistaken on the diff, and I have the 4x diff still.

Brakes are good to go, just in need of a few random lines. The pistons I ordered only fit the front, so I now have 4 front pistons for skyline brakes. I'm sure I will abuse the brakes to the point of needing these one day. The spare JWT TCU has some wires cuts going into the part that looks like an ethernet/phone jack. No clue why or if it works, or what. I know the car has some sort of TCU, not sure if its a JWT or just the OEM. I am going to try to send the JWT TCU back to JWT, and have them rehab it.

Car has some random extra fan which turns on/off by some switch located right next to the left front light. Kinda neet I guess. Mechanic is going to rig it, so it doesn't need the switch to function

So now I'm hunting for the IMPUL front bumper. I'm not going to pay $390 for something I've never seen

So I can now add a brand new OEM Calsonic compressor, 4 front pistons for R32 Skyline GTR brakes, and a mint front bumper cover, to my random parts collection.

Joe's online kit is almost complete, but mine was missing the "Y" hose to the IAC and a short 90-degree air bypass hose under the plenum. Nothing major. BTW, I've got a spare set of used A/C hoses. Maybe we can work out a trade for something?

The AIR (secondary stuff, think IAC) hoses, some coolant hoses...

Basically all Joes kit includes is the crankcase hoses, and very few of them are actually ones you NEED to replace when and only when the plenum is off (think deep within the valley)

Thanks wes, I appreciate it.

As always your input is appreciated. I just want to get everything done at once. I want to replace every hose now, rather then later. I have the drivebelts already, and the hose kit. Can you give me a part breakdown of what else I need?

1992Q45A: Despite the IMPUL kit, is there any other Japanese kit that is available to the US and how much are they gonna be? I am very interested in a couple of kits I saw on some Japanese website but it looks like they will cost a fortune for them. I am willing to spend but not at a price that I am actually buy another Q.

I am also interested in this wing not sure if there are something similar and how much:

Thank you very much for any help

Yea, that's the problem.

I am currently trying to contact Intense Motorsports, as they import all kinds of kits. They don't list any specific kits for the Q45, but they import alot of companies, who do make them for the G50.

Stillen has a kit, but they don't have any pictures, except for the Wing.

The kits themselves are pretty cheap for the G50. You can get real nice full kits for under 1,000.. Around 500 in alot of cases. Problem are you are going to spend probably 2-3x the price on the kit in shipping. This is if you do it yourself with a Japanese contact. I got quoted for $400 in shipping just for the front bumper. I will let you know what Intense motorsports says.

Their URL is http://www.i-m-racing.com/index.html
