Stillens parts are manufactured here, they are definetely not the IMPUL kit. They could be exact replicas, however. The Stillen rep is going to contact the US manufacturer and try to get some pics.
I'm not sure I really care. They are selling their front air dam for $390.00. The Impul front bumper we all love so much is only $150 or so from IMPUL. Factor in shipping, you are probably looking at the same cost as the stillen (whcih comes with no pictures, and god knows the availability) Anyway, the ENTIRE Impul kit is $570 from Impul themselves. Very cheap, shipping will cost you, but the kit is worth the price in my opinion. Anyway onto my car.
First time restoring anything really, so lessons will be learned. I now have a front bumper cover I don't need. It's in PERFECT condition, crimson red. It was supposed to be burgundy, but it matches my paint perfectly. For some reason I misunderstood, and thought I was getting just the top part, and it would replace the gaping hole section of my bumper. Wrong, I need the entire Front bumper cover (which I know now is basically the entire bumper) Oh well, didn't lose too much on that deal.
The AC system is still on the car, kryder has no memory. It's disconnected due to some hoses being cut. So I just need a few hoses, and the A/C should be revived. This also gives me hope kryder was also mistaken on the diff, and I have the 4x diff still.
Brakes are good to go, just in need of a few random lines. The pistons I ordered only fit the front, so I now have 4 front pistons for skyline brakes. I'm sure I will abuse the brakes to the point of needing these one day. The spare JWT TCU has some wires cuts going into the part that looks like an ethernet/phone jack. No clue why or if it works, or what. I know the car has some sort of TCU, not sure if its a JWT or just the OEM. I am going to try to send the JWT TCU back to JWT, and have them rehab it.
Car has some random extra fan which turns on/off by some switch located right next to the left front light. Kinda neet I guess. Mechanic is going to rig it, so it doesn't need the switch to function
So now I'm hunting for the IMPUL front bumper. I'm not going to pay $390 for something I've never seen
So I can now add a brand new OEM Calsonic compressor, 4 front pistons for R32 Skyline GTR brakes, and a mint front bumper cover, to my random parts collection.
