I just realised I haven't posted any of the numerous pictures I have from my CA swap so I thought I'd share them with you guys.

Quick back story.I bought my first 240 in January of last year when I was 15. 1990 XE Coupe. Anyway around last August I had the car completely stripped down and it was rusty metal city. The frame rails were gone so I was sadly forced to sell the car. Around August I bought my new car, a 93 XE Fastback. I blew the KA up less than a mile from where I bought it but I already had my CA18 waiting at home. I got the motor swapped in but my brother's genious friend decided to jack up my motor from the oil pan when we were installing it and then put a huge dent in the oil pan. I couldn't get the pan off while it was still in the car so I had to pull the motor again. I pulled the pan and pounded the dent back out and replaced the dented sump. I decided to do a bunch of other work while the motor was out such as porting the stock manifold, swapping the throttle body, etc. My ITBs are on order and I'm making a custom plenum for them too. I've also already started my V-mount kit with help from Opposite Lock Motorsports. Pics of that will be up soon. Anyway enough with the back story. Here's the pictures. (note: I paid for all of this stuff myself, including my motor, parts, insurance, and chassis, so not to be cocky but I'd say I'm not exactly your average 16 year old).

^Pulling the CA back out with help from one of the Opposite Lock guys, Lucas.

^Lightly ported KA24E throttle body

^KA24E maf

^Technafit stainless braided clutch line

^Opposite Lock Motorsports ported intake manifold and plenum

^My stock T25 freshly rebuilt with a Sabb center section and HKS Wastegate Actuator

^Ported exhaust inlet on turbo

^SSAutocrap manifold and o2 housing

^Megan Racing downpipe

^URAS Type-RS cat-back

^My temporary solution until I can afford NISMO mounts

^Volvo 740 Turbo oil cooler to help aid in heat transfer ($10 from a junkyard)

^Schroth Profi II ASM 6-point harness

^Gotta love that nicely glazed flywheel, resurfacing might be needed

^Complete meatless clutch disc

^Taka oil feed line

^Intake plenum and manifold back on the motor (also my vented coil pack cover)

^Yes this sticker is a joke

^Broken knock sensor

So the oil things I'm waiting on are my oil return line, clutch disc, and oil pan gasket (all of which I've already ordered) Any ideas on fixing the knock sensor? Prehaps I could use my KA24DE one with some sort of adapter. Any imput would help. Also feel free to give opinions on the swap. More pictures to come soon.

It's looking good man. You definitely know a lot more than I did when I was 16. I'm very curious to see how you're itb's with custom plenum turn out. Post up some pics of that when you get that finished. You'd also be surprised at how well that urethane filler works with stock mounts. For 3 bucks for a tube, its worth it. Might as well replace some of those old coolant lines while the motors out. It'll save you a lot of hassle down the road.

Looks like you've got a really great start though. Keep us updated as work progresses.
