There is a CD changer to my knowledge. There are buttons right above the CD slot that says "1 2 3 4 5 6". My salesman (Glendale Infiniti) even said that there is a CD changer in the back. I haven't tested the changer out but I believe I saw in the manual that there is a CD changer. Otherwise, why would those 6 buttons be there? Not just for aesthetic purposes.

The Sedan has a CD changer, the G37 does not. The Sedan's sticker said "6 Disc Changer in Trunk", my sticker makes no mention of it.

The 1-6 buttons are for the radio presets. That's about it. No CD changer in my trunk.

Now I'm guessing with the fact it's the same stereo that there is a way to add one, but that's just a guess.

The coupe premium package has a single-feed, six-disc, in-dash CD player/changer that is controlled by the 1-6 buttons unless you opt for the nav package. That replaces the changer with a single-disc CD player due to the addition of the Music Box hard drive and the flash card slot. I believe the 1-6 buttons are only used for radio presets in that case?

Correct...no cd changer if you have the Nav. The music box replaces the CD changer. I has a gracenote database (don't know how recent) for CD track titles and will use those when burning the CD to the music box. With 9.6GB you can fit WAAAAAY more than 6 CDs worth of music.

I've already ripped several CDs to the music box. It's pretty slick.

Are you able to transfer files from Compact Flash to the Music Box? Haven't seen anything about that yet on the forum.

Oh I see. That explains it. Thanks for clarifying!

I know you can't copy off the iPod. I tried. It would have been cool if it did.

Oh and I found this: http://www.infiniti.com/music-update/

You can copy the list of CD's you ripped that it couldn't find and it will put them on a Compact Flash then you run that utility and you can update them then put it back in the car and it'll update it.
