Hey man, if you are in contact with Frankie, tell him to call me back. He called me today but I was on the other line, and he never called back. I don't have his phone # or email.

Hey Fred, I talked to that Frankie guy earlier today. He had called me to help organize the event. I mentioned that I would like to see it as a Nico convention, but I understand the feeling of wanting it to be a 240sx convention.

It's much like the national SE-R conventions...but with 240sx's. With it just being a 240sx convention, people can gather to learn specifically more about the 240sx's, rather than a wide range of vehicles. Not that learning about more than one car is a bad thing, but if it's all 240sx's, then you get a more in depth 240sx learning experience.

Being a member of SERCA (se-r club of america), I fully understand and support the idea of a 240sx only national convention (other cars won't get turned away, just not advertised to come).

I think maybe there is a time and place for everything, and this should remain 240sx only, while we can eventually turn our BG meets into a national NICO convention in the future, and even move the national nico convention from city to city (in the future).

I know that I personally would want to see a national SE-R convention continue as a sentra-only event. The 240sx convention is an annual event, and this is not the first year of it. I'm sure those guys feel the same way about the 240sx as I do about the sentra.

If you guys plan a national NICO meet, I would suggest Indianapolis as a potential location. Indy is a centrally located city about 2hrs from you LOUKY guys and 2hrs from Chicagoland. There are plenty of things to do in Indianapolis and plenty of places to stay. It also has a drag strip (Indianapolis Raceway Park) that is home to the NHRA Nationals.

Yeah dude, it's only 9 hours. I've driven it more times than you can count. Maybe 10 or 11 if you hit some really bad traffic. Usually 9 though. I think I've even done it in 7 1/2, but that was moving pretty good.

I'm pretty much in too...ColdZero, you can just stop in Bowling Green, grab a bite to eat, and Ben and I will follow you down....it'll break up the monotony some and give you two other tight Nissans to drive with. Nothing is cooler than a convoy of pimp rides!
