I thought about waiting til I was done with this stuff to post pics and results, but I am too excited.. and I have a couple of questions

I am working with a couple local metalworkers with a lot of Supra experience on making some custom engine stuff for my RB20det.

I will be setting up a web-site soon for my business, and I hope to market duplicates of these parts if they are a success.

They will be fabbing a RB26dett style front facing intake manifold. It will look like the Greddy RB25 mani. Q45 throttle body. Custom IC piping.

I will be getting a Megan Racing FMIC and catback exhaust with N1 tips. I am excited that I will be carrying Megan Racing products. It will be nice to be able to give first hand experience discription on how these products work.

We might also be doing an exhaust manifold, custom downpipe, turbo elbow, oil catch can, and some other things.

Here's question or two... I found a Q45 throttle body at a local wrecker for $50. It's a 93 (77mm i think) with Traction control. Will I have to modify my TPS? What will I have to do with the Trac Control?

Second question... what size is the connection between the exhaust wheel on the turbo and the downpipe? I am not planning to upgrade the turbo just yet, so I will need to keep the stock outlet size. I need to know so that I can get the right size flanges and stuff.

Third Question... I picked up a universal adjustable fuel pressure regulator. How do I go about mounting that to the fuel rail? Do I keep the existing regulator and just hollow it out? Is there a way to lock it open? I am not sure about how to mount that sucker.

Fourth question... I think I am having issues with my 02 sensor... would that create cold start problems? Can I clean it? Where to I find it?

I will keep everyone updated on the progress. I am hoping to be able to offer a very high quality intake manifold for a very reasonable price.

No. NO! On the pipe exiting the turbine.

megan racing makes excelent parts at insanely cheap prices.as for the fuel pressure regulator, remove the old one, have some one weld on a -4an fitting and plumb as you like.

i have the NISMo adapter that connects the NISMO universal afpr to the fuel rail. fits all rb's and sr's i believe. its new in the package. ib ought it but realized i dont need it since i got the model specific afpr.

edit:: it uses a hose to connect to the afpr so it can be used to mount the afpr remotely as well. easier than welding. i can post pics if you want.

You say you don't need it... Does that mean you are willing/interested in selling it? let me know how much!

Any pics you can send would be helpful!!! Thanks!

Thanks Carl,

I may buy the adaptor from wawazat, but if not, your answer sounds perfect. Thanks.

As for Megan... I agree. I have been very impressed with what you get for the price.. There may be other companies that have slightly better quality, but at 2-3 times the price, they are definitely not a good value. As a consumer.. I hate paying for "name".

I am very excited to have the chance to sell Megan's products through my business. I have some great plans.. (I don't think I am allowed to talk about it now though because I am not technically set up yet with NICO as a sponsor/advertiser.. still waiting for terms and instructions from AZhitman) Sorry. Not fair to other sponsor businesses.
