Heyo,

Well ive been here a lil now browsing thru the vert forums and ive finnally got some pics of my vert out there.

I picked her up for $300... horrible shape, needed... everythingbut i figured I could make it work with spare parts.

when I got her...rear 1/4 window wouldnt go up, top was haggard, rust everywere, interior shot, blown headgasket, bald tires, wrecked RH fender & door. roof motor was dead.

I fixed up the window frames rust.

did a compression test... turned out fine, i dunno why they thought it had a bad headgasket. it runs great, the PS pump needed reattached tho. ripped out the old roof motor leaving it a manual drop top.Replaced the entire interior with clean black panels, carpet, S14 seats/ belts/ steering wheel. Threw a new window switch in. buffed the rear window clear.Got a set of coupe doors, wingless trunk and clean fender.Stole the 5 lug & wheels off my S14 and put new snow tires on the rear (4lug) till spring comes. (s14 gets new hubs this year)and cleaned up the engine bay.

car looks awfull right now, but in due time you wont recognise it.it runs great, sticks in 1st every once and a while after startup. but works if I play with it a bit.hopefully picking up a silvia front end, paint, and coilovers soon to follow this month. then 4 point cage w/ low doorbars before spring. basically its goin to be my ultra low daily I allways wanted.

I was allways jealous my old roomates coupe looked lower (via flat trunk against my s14's rounded trunk) but my roof was physically lower than his.soo... forget the roof, my goal is to have the top of the 1/4 at hip height.

now I just need to pick a color...

On behalf of the vert community: Thanks for saving one!

Looks like it's coming along pretty nicely. Please keep us updated with lots of pictures.

I'm digging those front wheels.

Are those A Techs up front? If so, nice choice in wheels. Good to see another vert saved. It's gonna look hot once finished. I can already picture it in my head. Keep us updated.

thanks everyone & will do,shes in the garage, Im addressing the rust issues on the floor and on the Right Rear 1/4 you can see in the pix right now accually.

and yea, there the Atechs from my S14...I painted them Pearl White last year & just picked up a pair of 17x9.5 +15 for the front this season.so I dont need the 17x9's upfront anymore.
