I just changed the oil on my 09 Versa HB 1.8. After replacing the oil drain plug, it snugged up, and then tightened only a tiny bit further. I'm used to the oil plug taking almost a whole turn (360 degrees) to completely tighten up after some resistance is felt. I gave it a good wrench to make it sure it was tight. But I wanted to tighten it even harder, but was afraid I would bend the pan.

I read here that some guy's oil drain plug fell out once !!!

Hope I'm worrying unnecessarily. Just venting, I guess.

Anyone else notice this about the drain plug ?

No. Never had to use a new washer before. Why now?
