From nissan - or a ca18de pulsar in a junkyard... Just fyi, there is absolutely nothing wrong with a turned/remanufactured crank. As long as it was cut by a competent machine shop, and your bearing clearances are right you will be breaking other parts far before the crank becomes a strength issue.

Unless he wants and un-ground crank so that he can have it offset ground to gain stroke?

The CA already suffers from a stroke that is too big for the block's deck height. Leave the stroke alone.

Speaking of too much stroke and not enough meat to handle it, did you ever get the weights figured out?

I never cracked the motor open. I just finished a term of school and have about three weeks where only work and distributing genetic material demand my time. I will get it ripped down and packed up. Block, crank, main caps, girdle, and main bolts all you want? I think everything but the block wil mail.

Yup. Don't need rods, pistons, or the head. Take your time. Your school is more important than a motor that's going to sit in my garage till the spring.

BTW, is that thing FWD or RWD? I need a RWD oil pan.

It is in the rear drive configuration but remember the goofy oil pan?

A standard RWD pan will fit over the girdle if you tear the baffle out.

Ive got an unturned crank that's 100% within spec and the journals have been polished by the same machine shop. Email me [email protected]
