I bought my Pathfinder second hand and I was trying to figure out if it came with keyless entry. I only received one key and no fob with it. Under the hood in the relay box there is a spot for the keyless entry relay and its blank with no receptacle. When I lock my doors and insert my key into the ignition six or so times, my hazards flash and I'm in programming mode. My truck only has two key holes. One on the drivers side, and one on the rear. Anyone have any insight?

I don't think there are 2001s without keyless entry. There's a thread for finding out which remote you'll need to buy based on manufacturing date, search for "how to pick a factory remote".

I know I need the KBRUSTA10 Model/A if I have keyless. I'm just going to buy one and find out. Also, has anyone done this with their key?

The FSM shows where the keyless / security control module is located (it's above the drivers knee panel on my 97 QX4). It requires removing a few things to get to it, but the module has a sticker on it with the FCC / Frequency#... then you don't have to guess. :)

For 2001, there two different fobs with the same FCC# and frequency. One was the /A and other, well, was
just blank there. The blank version is the more common.

Thanks guys. I know what module is needed. I was just worried it wasn't going to work. I called the dealer and they were able to tell me that it was factory installed, and for an arm and a leg I could get a replacement fob. :)

You can find slightly used replacement fobs on eBay and Amazon. I've bought several that way.

I know I'm late but I too your advise Chuck. I got the fob and it was the wrong model. I tired it anyways and it worked. When I got the flip key cover, I found that they put the right transponder in the wrong case.
