I had an idler pully break on my 98 Park Avenue while I was driving. The thing had around 180Kmi on it, and the idler pully was plastic, so this shouldn't have been surprising. With 140Kmi on my 06 M45, I'm wondering if there is anything similar I should go ahead and replace. I'm sure there are idler pullies, and I know something like a water pump could eventually fail, but I mean specifically parts that are likely to break suddenly without warning (so like that idler pulley, which broke [vs having a bearing making noise until it seizes] because it was plastic). Is there anything like that on the VK45DE that might be worth being proactive about?
