hey so i'm really not sure what to search for or anything but basically this is my friends 240 it has a KA in it, nothing special, basically i wanna know where does this plug go to, and do i need to plug it in(i'm sure i do) if you can't tell in the pic it's right between the head and the firewall. look at the picture below and see if you can tell whats up.

sorry for the bad pic quality, my camera phone sucks, i'll try to get a new one up soon.

Probably one of the emissions sensors... Picture is a little too close to tell though, at least for me.

Do you have a KA too? Put the 2 cars next to each other and see the difference.

Also, you can try looking in the general vicinity back there to see if anything's missing a plug...

Does the Engine Check Light come on? If it does, then you can pull the ecu code and it will help you narrow down what is missing.

Im pretty sure that its for the swirl control valve. Check and see if you can see what color the wires are. If there brown and grey then thats what it is.The valve is for the Swirl combustion valve system, which is part of the air intake system. Its supposed to create more torque and power. Does the car run ok as is?

its for the vacuum sensor b/s thing on the back of the head, there should be 2, if u don't have 2 that explains y u don't know where it goes. advice: pull off all emmisions and u'll be good haha
