While I was replacing my my fuel filter today, I had to get into the kick panel to depressurize the fuel lines.

Anyhow, I noticed above the hood release there's a relay that wasn't connected to anything!

Is it normal to just have a hanging relay like this? It's definitely connected to a bunch of wires that go up behind the dash panel.

I'll just leave this photo here, any pointers would be excellent.

Peace

If anybody's curious it's the "Data link connector for CONSULT".

Yeah I've been going through the manual, and searching every-fing-where for a CONSULT. I cannot find find anything anywhere. I even contacted Nissan and they're gonna get back to me about it.

You'd think they'd release some kind of OEM windows compatible software for this old a** software.

Honestly I just want it for the ability to shut off the fuel pump and run diagnostic tests.
