Hey, not sure if anyone has taken a look at the new issue of Super Street mag yet, but I was looking at some of the SR/Silvia/240 goodies and came across this....gonna call tomorrow to find out the price.

Seems like a nice set, plus, I don't believe a crank pulley was available for the SR before this, correct?? Pics are available in the magazine by the way...what you guys think??

Someone needs to do a test on those and tells us if/how it affects the harmonic dampeners. I dont to be the first guinea pig and watch my engine shake itself it death at high rpms!

I've seen it, Ken had the prototype at his shop. For sombody with a milder motor or a fully ballanced built SR it would be a great addition. I'm just tryin to stay away from it due to the whole ballancer thing, I know everybody says it dosn't effect it at all but I still want to keep mine intact.

Prolly pretty expensive, UR tends to be pretty expensive with their stuff. I'd guess for a set around $500~$600? Chris

Ken @ enjuku? They will probably do it for a better price than UR.

Do we know for sure that the pulley has to do with balance?

I have been having a buddy of mine at a shop look into these for me. I think i could set up a group buy on the pulley set. They will include the crank pulley, the wp, ps, and alt. Estimated price right now is 425-450 maybe a little lower depending on how many are interested. EMail me at [email protected] and let me know if you want in, and i willl see how soon we can get these and at what price. Later guys, Chris

Eh, I definitely would stay away from getting a different crank pulley. Unless 100+ people ran it without any problems over a matter of years and were getting more than 10whp out of it. Not going to happen like that though.
