I was reading up on some forums about the unorthodox pulley set for the Kade and someone posted that when they installed the crank pulley it wore down A seal behind the pully, which over time leaked oil and then had to be replaced. Im woundering if that is true or NOT. Anyone else run into issues with this?

As I recall, at one point either the ASP or Unorthodox Racing pulleys had a few pieces with a machining error on them that damaged the front crank seal. This may have just been one case or it may be total BS. Either way, both pulleys work fine now.

It *is* a good idea to replace the front seal while you're installing the pulley. The seal tends to wear out over time. I had a leaky seal with my OE crank pulley.

There's some debate over the effects of the pulley on long term engine health, but lots of people are running UR and ASP pulleys with no problems at all.

Check in the Advertisers forums. Someone there should have a pulley to sell you at a good price.
