hello, i was just wondering, most ppl i see here use just the 1 crank pulley, so i was wondering what the estimated gain for just that pulley is. I ask this because in my older Import tuner, they installed a complete pulley kit and gained 8 peak HP. i want to know if it is worth the $500 for the kit or is the crank pulley alone better off (at i believe $250) thanks!!

crank pulley alone is probably a better bet. The other pulleys you can always do later, but yeah crank pulley would be better if you've gotta do the crank. I think unorthodox is having a 15% off sale for this month. Also you can look at the ones that have blemishes on them as that'll help reduce the cost down to 135 or something. Personally I've got to get a SR crank pulley, not too interested in the others though. Only reason I must, is because my sr's crank pulley was cracked upon inspection...*shakes fist* and 150 for a new stock pulley just doesn't do it for me when another 70 can get me an aftermarket pulley.

ok i will take that into consideration, i think it is better to get just the crank first, since u can get the others later anyways thanks

there you go, a full set for the s14 for 288, sohc pulleys seperate but alot cheaper than a new set.

for you sr guys, the sr20det pulley, although advertised as available isn't going to be available until early 2004. Bastards.

looks to me like a set for the s14 at 288, for the dohc s13's they've got em seperate and ditto for the sohc. Damn never would have guessed the sohc crank pulley weighs in at over 7lbs.
