I know there has been alot of discussion with the Unorthodox Underdrive Pulley. But I am in the process of installing the 4 piece pulley set, which includes the water pump, power steering, alternator, and underdrive pulley. All of the pulleys were installed without a problem minus the alternator pulley, which comes to my question.
When I attempted to install the unorthodox alternator pulley it sat flush against the alternator like the stock pulley. But, when I tried to tighten the nut that connects the pulley to the alternator all of the internals just spun with it. Aside from that, I removed the pulley and noticed there were rub marks on the back of the pulley bellow the outter ring.
It looks like the pulley wasn't machined with the small lip on the back like the stock pulley. I'm not sure if I just have a defective part or if the design is just flawed all together. I'll try to post pics of the pulley later. Has anyone else had this problem with installing the Unorthodox alternator pulley?
