if all of you could do this over again and only had a budget of 10,000 11,000 us dollars to spend on a car, which car would you buy:

option is on if users want to add cars to the list. the versa is way more car for the price. more comfortable. once you mod this car, the v is even more attractive than a modded accent. a no-brainer i feel.

I had no idea that Honda has a fit in that price range? But I did sit in that car before I bought the Versa and it made me feel like a sardine in a can!

On this forum Versa will always win...

Most of the "active" members on this forum are happy with their purchase ("our purchase")... So I don't think we will have a different winner than the Versa... Well, you could have a Sedan Vs. HB, or Versa Vs. Tiida poll... ... jk...

Who knows, I might be surprised by the outcome, let's wait for more voters...

.......of course the v is going to have a higher poll count than an accent. has nothing to do with being right. it has everything to do with vs rock and accents suck.

That's right... I forgot to add that little piece...

Really... When I was going to buy my car, I went to the Hyundai Dealer, just to "look" if I could find a good purchase... But little details just made me run out of there... The Accent is actually less expensive than the V here (Tiida in my case), but it misses so many things...

So glad I got my Tiida instead of... that...

We wouldn't buy any new car in the $10-11k price range as they are all too chintzy on creature comforts or quality for that price. Limited to that price range we'd opt for something on the used car market here.

Yea... way more car for the money. With that 11 grand, I sure could get a featureless manual transmission 1.6 Versa compared to an also featureless 11 grand Accent, now couldn't I? WOW.

My particular Versa is a lot for the money but getting anything brand new for 11 grand? Yea, try and get a power everything peppy car for that much.

..........somewhere in versaland someone actually paid over 20000 usd after taxes etc. in my opinion an 18000 versa doesnt make sense. too bad the sentra was so ugly. i saw one yesterday and the front end on those cars are just wrong. i know our vs are wrong also but i'm pretty sure nissan will do something about that soon.

I don't care how loaded a Versa is, you're right about spending 20 grand on one not making sense. I also agree the new Sentras look wierd but I like the front end of the Versa. I would think the height of the Versa is more distracting than anything else but it's still not bad.

I had a hyundai Accent in the past, so I will never again buy one ... no matter how cheap it costs to buy, I'll never buy one again.

My Versa cost me over twenty grand ... it is a loaded Versa, brand new ... and in CDN dollars ... Everything here costs more. I don't think it was a dumb decision, I love it and felt it was a good investment.

Well 20 grand CDN makes more sense than 20 grand US.

I would in all likelihood buy another versa, I recently bought a Jeep Greand Cherokee 4.7 gas hog for my wife, she likes my versa but fell in love with the Jeep. Now that gas is on the rise again she keeps eyeing my V. About the ONLY vehicle that could tempt me is maybe the Jeep Grand Cherokee Diesel, but that's a $60,000.00 vehicle here in Canada. I could buy 3 fully loaded Versa's for that. Yes, it's been more than a year since I bought my V and I still really enjoy it. Tried all the rest before I made the decision to purchase it. We're taking it on vacation soon as it will cost about 1/4 of what it would cost to fly or take the Jeep and trailer to go from Calgary to Halifax.
