Unlocking the Navi DVD drive

Is there any way to unlock the navi disc drive so I can play DVDs ? I have an 07 armada LE with navi but no DVD? Any help would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks in advance

First off, welcome to NICOclub, glad to have you here in the Armada/QX56 Forum!

No, there is no way to use the Nav DVD drive for playing traditional DVD's. You need to install a separate DVD player in your Armada in order to play DVD's. FYI, you can then send the DVD feed to your front Nav screen and watch the video on the Nav screen. All make sense?
