Unlocking a Kenwood 8120 HU

I locked out my 8120, probably set up a password long time ago and I reset the HU and now I can't get pass it. Okay, I didn't steal the HU. My installer told me the code to try but he's not sure how to enter the code into the HU. If anyone knows, it would be greatly appreciated.

try to contact kenwood support directly.

Thanks, went to Kenwood service center and $35 later and 2 mins it was reset. I'm glad that it didn't lose all the settings, just some.

So how did they reset it? By pushing reset down for 2 minutes?
