Unlock the doors without the use of the request button

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Both my wife and I noticed that if the car is locked, you can walk up to the lift gate (with the intelligent fob in your pocket) and you can unlock the lift gate by just opening it without pushing the door handle or lift gate request switch. That is - you do not need to push the request button on either the doors or lift gate. This is not in the manual and we may be doing something wrong but try it and see if it works for you.

Yup, that's how mine is too (only for the back door), and there's another thread on here where other people said the same thing.

Yes, it works for me as well and I thought it is how it supposed to be eventhough we think it should work as what lexus offers(door handle has a sensor whenever you touch the inner handle it unlocks that door only) since the hatch was designed to have a button, not a handle, it would let us open the hatch just by touching the hatch release button with the keyfob in our pocket. They have the outer button to make sure we lock the hatch or other doors after we close the hatch.

to make long story short, Yes it works that way for me as well, but it need some refinement.
