So today, I decided to sit down and learn how to use and program this darn Greddy Profec...First however, I needed some advice...the insturctions were confusing...SOOO I USED THE SEARCH button and wha la! Info. Beautiful thing really...so easy, so fast.

Anyhow...I find a real nice article on Fresh Alloy, print it, and I am off...Takes me about 30 minutes, and a little test driving to find a safe bute effective boost level...Safe as in "I don't want to blow the motor yet"

The test dummy: So I am coming home and who comes up right up on my A$$ but one of them "JDM TYTE" Honda Hatches...Red wheels, sidemarkers and all...I hate tailgaters, maybe I should put the emblems BACK on my car...The interesting thing was, and much to his disadvantage...His girlfriend was with him...hehe now the fun begins...

So we play around a bit, clear a little traffic and I, with the push of a button, decide to test my new "HI" setting...I'm straight gone. Peace, thanks but no thanks...I'm outta here...

The one thing about honda onwers, they are a persistent bunch...

He catches up to me and now wants to "race" so we drop gears and at first, it looks as though he as a trick up his sleeve...but no, thats just me passing him on the right. I give him the 'ol hazards treatment while I am waving at his girl...Hey...I said I unleashed the beast? Right?

He was obviously not a good sport and decided to "run-off" in the carpool lane...funny as hell...

Oh yea...love the boost settings.

You have the link to that useful profec info on freshalloy? I hardly ever wander outside of nico, and i wanna learn on programming the emanage, just wanting to get the knowledge in my head before i actually get one. I've been trying to learn the AEM Ems program and the manuals over 150 pages, soo complex and a complete *****. Hopefully the emanage/profec-e01 setup can't be as bad. Oh btw the Congrats on the kill

I run only around 10-11psi max. I hear the injector duty cycle tops out at around 12psi...given this I run arouind town with 8psi, and bump it in my HI setting to 11 for when someone wants to get it on!

HI settings:Boost display: 25%gain: 10%set gain: .9Kpa

Awesome results. That's the kind of boost controller I'd like to have
