This is a rwd sr20 non-turbo from japan, long story on how I got it, no intake, dist, harness or ecu. Just trying to learn about it so that I can build it for my 240. Thought this was a forum for info not smart a$$'s. I am not a kid with daddies money, I am a father with three kids trying not to make costly mistakes. Thank you.

If you have any info, engine is factory stamped with SR20 followed by six digits then a W. Possibly a Silvia A' motor, IF you know what that is.

you would be better off turboing a KA24 then trying to turbo a non turbo Sr.

You're right. So stop being one and stop expecting everyone to hand you everything.

You had no idea that a Silvia A even existed until you came here. You found that out in the other thread you started in Gen Chat. I'm going to make a suggestion and you take it as you want. I suggest you tone it down a little and maybe show some gratitude towards the people that are helping you. K? Thanks.

Actually, I'm not. If you read the thread, you'll notice how unappreciative of the help he was receiving. If you feel I'm being a d!ck, I could care less. This is my little section of NICO and if I feel someone is out of line, I'll inform them as such. Would you appreciate it if someone came into your house and started thrashing the dinner your gf/wife made? Didn't think so. Have a nice day.

Why you wanna go visit?

N/A SR's came in different generation Silvia's just like the DET did, what year is it, or is redtop, blacktop, silver VC, or what? Easier then turboing a KA and an infintely better engine too.

As much as you are trying to find out about the sr20de your time would be much better spent looking for a rwd sr20det.

Yeah... but like Norm says... instead of researching it, just go look for an SR20DET.

Maybe he is a newb Idaho? I left the part that wasn't out of line, no need to get all bent out of shape right.

makes it seem like your a newbie coming in here with no clue asking what the main difference. is and i told you.

in the future if you want more specific help i suggest that you be more specific with your questions.. other wise use the search engine.

This seems awfully unapreciative to me. You came looking for info, didn't get the answer you wanted and went on the defensive. Next time, don't get so defensive when you don't get the answer you want within 30 seconds of making a post.

Thanks, The engine is not in the car yet, but I did get it for free with 43k miles, less intake, dist, harness, and ecu. I hadnt planned on turboing it and keeping my auto trans in the car. My wife eenjoys driving the car but can not drive a stick..lol. Would just like to build a nice motor replace my tired KA. Then I plan to take my time and truelly build the KA. Thanks again for the input. The numbers on this motor are SR20 049790W. Again just trying to figure out what parts I am going to need so I dont buy the wrong ones.

Alot of the parts are interchangeable with the Sr20de found in sentras, and also since it is non turbo i am guessing parts off the KA will work like intake pipe and stuff like that.
