my 93 240sx se shakes violently. its something in the engine but being a teenager i dont have as much experience as many who have worked on cars for years. so can anyone maybe give me a hint or a guess as to what it could be.

Is this just at idle or when you're moving? You're going to have to be a lot more descriptive. My guess is motor mounts, but we need more info.

its at idle moving u cant tell as much but its very agressive shakin while sitting at idle we think the timing is off also

Well the same thing happen to me last week. I checked the spark, fuel, and timing and when I was about to give up I saw that the main engine ground had come lose from its connector I repaired it. After that it started up as always like the champ she is. So just double check the ground bc that what was making my car feel like ur driving down a dirt road doing 80 at idle.
