any ideas what it is and if it is even suppose to be there. The only thing i can figure is it blocking oil and pushing it back all over the turbo
I beg to differ, that wire brush and restrictor is factory and is in the USDM driver's side V/C vent hose that's connected to the air intake hose that connects the turbo inlet and MAF.Carl H wrote:uh...the wire brush shouldnt be there but the restrictor should be kept.
and sounds like you have a blown turbo if its leaking that much oil.
