Post

Hello everyone,
I recently have had an issue with my 280zx (non-turbo) that I cannot figure out for the life of me what the issue is. The car idles beautifully, but once any gas is added it dies. If you would like to see a video, please PM me and I will send it to you.

What have I done, you might ask...
Replaced Sparkplugs (One was foul)
Replaced Fuel Pump (2or3 years ago)
Took off Air Filter temporarily - It made a strange suction sound and then reved. But then died again.
Checked for Spark on the plugs (All were good)
Took off TPS and cleaned it

I think I am over my head right now. I might have to bring it in if we cannot figure it out.

Thanks Everyone!

Going to guess it's the mass airflow meter (between airbox and manifold). Common failure.
