Long story short, have eBay exhaust and the packing blew out (so my muffler is hallow and LOUD).

I need my friendly fellow NICO members to help me decide what Universal muffler is best for me. I want a good brand name one and constructed a list. Would like a quiet one too so if it is a load muffler let me know because I don't want it.

If you want something quiet, don't get a canister, get an actual MUFFLER. If you did that, I'd definitely go with Magnaflow.

If you want a quiet cannister style, HKS Hi-Power would be my choice.

My hks hi-power is annoyingly loud. Much hate for it.

I think I am going to add another resonator to my current system, but I am still unsure of what muffler I want. I just can't seem to make up my mind.

thing that sucks is Apexi only offers the N1 and the WS was universal mufflers, no GT spec. I would have to buy the whole system.

Did you buy just the universal muffler, or the complete cat back? I ask because I'm planning on buying the Hi-Power cat back in the near future and have never heard anyone write any negative comments on it. I really don't want a loud a** exhaust.

I have 2 megan racing type 2's. One for the s13 and for the s14. The s13's sound aggressive and its very tolerable in cabin but it could be an inch higher under the rear sway bar.IDK about the s14's because its just been sitting in the garage collecting dust.
