As We know the 3.3 dual, converters are not cheap. Has anyone successfully used universal types? Has anyone successfully run a VG33E cat-less without computer issues? I believe after cat sensors were installed in the 03's and up if I'm not mistaken. Would that be correct?
Thanks all. :BnB:

Most OBD-II cars have o2 sensor(s) after the cat. You can run cat-less, but will throw a CEL and won't pass emissions. I have used several universal OBD-II cats from ebay on various 96+ cars, the have all worked fine, but must be welded in (I welded on flanges for easier install / removal).

Thanks for the info, NismoPick. I'll give the cheap ones a try.
