i was driving in my 93 Q from school when i turned my radio down to answer my cell phone. after hanging up and the cabin being silent i hit a pothole and heard a squeaking near the steering wheel. i listened closer and everytime i hit a big enough pothole or bumb i hear squeaks. it sounds like its comin from behind the steering wheel like under the dash. my 94 maxima had a similar problem coming from a loose nut under the steering column. im thinking the Q is suffering from the same problem. does anyone have an idea what could possibly be the culprit or any ways to figure out whats wrong?

i have a squeak when i hit bumps, but its the metalwork under the seat cushion, although it sounds like its coming from the steering wheel area. little wd40 cleared that up

Regardless of the tact in the above post, the point is the clearer and more complete the post, the more likely a post will be responded to with applicable information.
