I have a 97 240sx. It use to have abs. My engine harness was damaged beyond repair. I replaced it with a non abs engine harness. I know cars are designed to brake safely if the abs fails. Is it worth getting non abs brake lines and swap them in? Would I notice any better braking? I would save a little weight and clean up the engine bay without that huge paperweight I have in the corner.

Thanks.

... real cars don't have abs?...

I've never had abs and I've done just fine...
