My front tires seem to wear out extremely fast on the outside edge. The rears wear evenly. I drive harder than your average joe, but not anything extreme. What should be done to correct this? Do I need to add some front negative camber?

Well, supposedly I had one when I had my tires installed, and they're fairly new.

Did they balance it or Set it up on a rack and took a hour or so under your car aligning your car up.

I'd get a second opinion. Perhaps someone with a manual alignment machine. A race shop would probably be best, but can be a bit pricey. But they would take more care in making sure it's aligned to a tighter tolerance. You're typical mechanic or tech only tried to get it within the factory tolerances. While this is typically fine, if they've done a poor job setting up the car on the alignment rack, then the computer can show it in spec while it actually is not.

Even with hard steet driving, I wouldn't expect to see any significant wear on the outer edge. Using it on a race track is a different story.

If you can't get the alignment right away you might want to get the tires turned over so the inside edge is on the outside now.

Or just bring the back tires to the front.

Well, one of the fronts popped, so I had to replace them anyway. I figure I can get an alignment soon anyhow.
