So, I am not sure how this happened but, my 2016 Rogue has uneven tire wear, where the front tires are low in tread compared to the back ones. I do my tire rotations every oil change, so not sure what is causing this issue. The Rogue has 53k miles.

They can be much closer than you think, just that the ones beginning to show the wear bar may be slightly ahead of the other pair. The bar being the major difference means nothing if on measuring tread depth they are actually very close.

Its not that they are like 1/32 off from each other, but its more like what the heck thing going on. Last month the fronts read 3/32 while the backs read 5/32. Two days ago, all tires read 5/32, with one tire had to be replaced with a new one.

Your tires did not gain tread depth in 2 days. More than likely you measured the depth at 2 different spots and had a slightly different wear. What are you using to measure tread depth and why are measuring it on a monthly basis?

I drive a lot of miles. The first time was during the rear brake pads were being replaced and the second time was during regular maintenance interval. This was all at the local Nissan dealer. However, I also did the Abe Lincoln coin test and it was showing Abe's head completely and then it wasn't showing completely.

The rogue is front wheel drive, which means the front wheels do all the work. Driving the vehicle and turning. They wear more quickly. I used to replace tires as they wear out with no rotation. I was replacing front tires 2:1 with rear tires.
