Welcome to the gangsta lean club. Had that problem and it bugged me for years and I finally got it fixed after I installed coilovers. I had to adjust driver side 15mm longer than passenger side from top to bottom on my coilovers. From ground to top of the wheel well arch height is 635mm on both sides. I have no idea why, but this is a common problem with 240s. I wouldn't have fixed it with KYB and some springs. How much lower is your driver side than passenge side?

your frame or subframe is bent. my old coupe was like that. it was ghetto. sell the car or take it to a frame shop. coilovers are not a fix.

That's too much difference. Have you hit something before? Something's bent bad. If it's small difference, I would think worn bushings or slight bent will cause the problem, but 1 and 3 fingers? That's just too much.

Why don't you swap struts left and right and see if it still looks like that? That way you can check if your shocks are okay.

alright thanks ill try swapping my struts from left to right and see if that will change any thing. but a while back before i got my suspension on, i slid into an curb and my tire hopped up on to it and bent the rim. so i am thinking thats probley what caused the slight bend?

Bent A-arm maybe? Well, if I were you, I would take out RUCA, A-Arm and stuff from both side and compare them side by side first. If there's no problem with them, you might have a problem with the frame, but I doubt it. Since you have hit a curb before, it's not from a small problem like worn bushing and stuff.

One more. This will also happen if you have a blown strut. Keep us posted and good luck!

You are welcome. This vert owner is also having a leaning problem. He seems to have a blown shock.

Try to push the car, make it up & down, let it settle, measure several times and see. You have sway bars, so height changes as weight shifts left and right. Your suspension is not stable.

I think it'll be okay to drive around, but you might scrape exhaust or differential if you hit a bump or something. Like I said, you have to identify what causes this first. Take your time and figure out what's bad or bent and go from there. Do you have KYB GR-2 or AGX, BTW?

I went to alignement shop with a good reputation and luckily, they didn't say I have a bent frame. My car drove perfect after the alignment, so I was thinking that my problem might be worn out bushing or something. I hope you just have a blown shock.

yeah me too i think im gonna look for a shop today to get an alignment done. I havent gotten it done since i lowered it ....

well went to expert tire today got alignment and everything is ok they didnt say ne thing about a bent frame, blown shock, or broken toe arm or ne thing, but he did say he adjusted the camber as far as he could with out it being to bad. so im thinking i need to buy aftermarket suspension parts. just replace it all so it can even everything out.

To see if the frame is bent you have to measure from point to point underneath the car..Tell a shop that you like to specifically check for it.

I went to shop A and paid $180 for an alignment and drove out crooked. Shop B (the one i like better anyways) told me my frame is bent. After they did an alignment and it still wouldnt go straight.

Shop B is currently fixing the frame.

If you have good stock underbody pieces it should get relatively close to spec, but having all the aftermarket pieces wont hurt if you have the money

FSM shows all the numbers you need.
