uneven rear tire wear - 2002 q45

168k on this q. premium pkg. recently had it inspected and passed in 2/10. had to replace 2 rear tires today due to uneven tire wear(~30 k on this michelin set). at inspection, had a 4-wheel alignment done. has orginal shocks all around.

hate to spend the big bucks at the local infiniti dealership. i want to make this one get to 300k, then buy a used M56.....

any suggestions / links about rear shock replacement would be appreciated...

Where was the tire wear exactly? Could very well be suspension related. Do you hear any noises coming from the rear of the car? Does the back sag or sit uneven, etc? You may also want to have your alignment double checked to ensure it was done to spec.
