Hi All

I noticed the muffler on the driver's side is lower than the passenger side. I googled about this and seems somewhat a common problem on other vehicles in addition to Infiniti. Is it because the muffler is settling due to the heat? I brought it to the Infiniti service center and it was a complete waste of time. They claimed I hit something and that is why it is uneven. Does this have something to do with the metal bracket and the rubber piece within? What is the best way to correct this issue?

Replies appreciated,

Thank you

It might be the rubber has gotten loose/stretched from being exposed to elements...

If they found physical damage on one side they could be correct. A bend or kink in the system could cause one side to be lower. If there is no damage, I'm with Ilya. Rubber weakens and stretches over time.
